The 5-2 defeat at the hands of the Stars was no shock, as the Bruins lost 4-0 against the winless Nashville Predators prior to that.

David Pastrnak and Cole Koepke have both scored six points each in the first eight games of the season. Both parties will be weary of their performance consistency heading into a must-win game against the Maple Leafs.
