The Oilers have looked sharp throughout the preseason with plenty of goals scored; however, discipline while on defense has been questioned multiple times as the team has lost four of the last seven preseason games.
With the earlier win against the Canucks, the Oilers already seem to have the advantage on Vancouver and it will be interesting to see how the team responds in this game.
Edmonton Oilers injuries
The long term absence of Evander Kane has been looming over the Oilers team as the player continues his recovery and aims to return to the roster in early 2025.

The Canucks have had a mixed bag of performances winning three out of five preseason games so far. The loss to the Oilers must have stung the Canucks and the team will surely look to avenge that loss and head into the new season on a positive note.
Vancouver Canucks injuries
