The Canucks have scored seven goals in the first two preseason games. They'll hope to improve their defense, which has conceded four goals.

The Canucks and their fans would love to replicate their league form from last season and improve their knockout stages output in the 2024-25 NHL playoff stages.

Vancouver Canucks key players and injuries

Jake DeBrusk has been at the forefront of Canucks attacks as usual, as the player scored a brace against the Calgary Flames. DeBrusk, along with Brock Boeser, will want to get their form up and running heading towards the start of the season.

Cole McWard and Teddy Blueger are both out for the upcoming game due to injuries.

The Kraken have gotten off to a shaky start, having conceded nine goals against the Flames and Canucks. Despite only scoring two goals in return, the Kraken side will look at this game as an opportunity to get back on track.

The Kraken ended last season sixth in the Pacific Division and missed out on qualifying for the playoff rounds; their target will surely be to take that step this season.

Seattle Kraken key players and injuries

Nathan Villeneuve and Ben Meyers have found one goal each in the first couple of games but will hope to improve their attack in the upcoming games. The team struggled with their defense last season (-19 goal difference).

There are no injuries to report.
