Established in 2017 as an expansion team, the Vegas Golden Knights made history as the first major sports franchise to represent Las Vegas and also became one of the few expansion teams to experience immediate success as they won the Stanley Cup in just their sixth season, in addition to their already impressive postseason runs and two division championship titles.
