Capitals vs. Devils: Odds & Prediction
The Washington Capitals are +195 while the New Jersey Devils are -238 at home with the over/under set at 6.5, with the over-juiced to -130.
Washington's offense has been a major surprise of how much it has struggled this season. New Jersey, meanwhile, has one of the best offenses in the NHL and faces a goalie in Hunter Shepard who's making his NHL debut.
New Jersey should be able to score quite often against Shepard. Meanwhile, Washington's offense isn't expected to keep up with the Devils' offense and power play.
Prediction: New Jersey 5, Washington 2
