The 2022-23 NHL regular season is drawing to an end and will be wrapped up on April 13. The top 16 teams across the Eastern and Western Conferences will advance to the playoffs stage and will then battle out to get their hands on the coveted Stanley Cup.
The 2022 Stanley Cup was won by the Colorado Avalanche after overcoming the Tampa Bay Lightning with a 4-2 win in the finals. Evander Kane of the Edmonton Oilers and Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche were tied as the leading goal scorers in the playoffs with 13 goals apiece.
Like every other year in the playoffs, this time also, the NHL will see the leading goal scorer skater at the end of the championship. Before we head to the 2023 playoffs, here's a list of the top five highest goal scorers in the playoffs.
#5 Glenn Anderson
Glenn Anderson was considered one of the best wingers in the league during his time. He spent 16 seasons in the NHL and played from 1980-1996.

#4 Brett Hull
Brett Hull was considered one of the best offensive wingers during his playing career. He spent more than 20 seasons in the NHL and played from 1986-2006.
Brett Hull wore the jerseys of the Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues, Dallas Stars, and Detroit Red Wings during his playing career. He has appeared in 202 playoff games and netted a total of 103 goals in his playoff career.
#3 Jari Kurri
Jari Kurri is one of the greatest players to ever put on an Oilers jersey. He spent a total of 17 seasons in the league and played from 1980-1998 in his career.

Mark Messier is considered one of the best center skaters that the NHL has ever produced. He spent a total of 25 seasons in the league and played from 1979-2004.
Messier wore the jerseys of the Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, and Vancouver Canucks during his playing career. He appeared in 236 playoff games and netted a total of 109 goals in his playoff career.

Wayne Gretzky is arguably the best hockey player to ever skate on the NHL ice. 'The Great One' spent a total of 20 seasons in the league and played from 1979-1999.
