The Winnipeg Jets, formerly the Atlanta Thrashers, have had their share of ups and downs since their founding in 1999. After struggling in Atlanta, the team was relocated to Winnipeg in 2011 and renamed the Jets. They quickly became a competitive force, making their first playoff appearance in 2015.
