Winnipeg Jets Division History
The Winnipeg Jets were initially part of the Southeast Division in the Eastern Conference when they debuted during the 2011-12 season. They stayed in the Southeast Division until a league realignment took place in 2013 which placed them in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. Since then, the Jets have stayed in the Central Division competing against teams like Nashville Predators, Minnesota Wild, Colorado Avalanche, Chicago Blackhawks among others. Notably, their highest finish came during the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons where they finished second on the table. Interestingly, their only taste of silverware came during their tenure as the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2006-07 season when they won the Division title. As the Trashers, they used to compete in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference until they relocated to Winnipeg.
