Zach Hyman, born on June 9, 1992, is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger currently playing for the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League (NHL). Notably, he was selected by the Florida Panthers in the fifth round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft but his rights were traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs on June 19, 2015 due to him and the Panthers not able to reach a contract agreement.
Prior to this, Hyman played for the Hamilton Red Wings in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL), where he began his junior career and was named Rookie of the Year in his first season with them.
