Zachary Justin Parise is a former professional ice hockey left-winger from the United States. He played in the NHL for the New Jersey Devils, Minnesota Wild, New York Islanders, and Colorado Avalanche. Parise served as captain of the Devils, leading them to the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals, where they lost to the Los Angeles Kings in six games. The Devils drafted him as the 17th overall pick in the 2003 NHL Draft after an impressive college career at the University of North Dakota.

In his rookie season, Parise recorded 14 goals and 32 points. Parise went on to achieve four consecutive seasons with over 30 goals. As a free agent, he signed a lucrative contract with the Minnesota Wild in 2012 and later played for the Islanders before joining the Avalanche in 2024. Throughout his career, he earned multiple accolades, including being named to the NHL All-Star Team and winning a gold medal with Team USA at the 2004 IIHF World Junior Championship.
