Both Shriffin and Kilde are World Cup champions who made their debut as a couple at the EPSY Awards in 2021. In an interview with the Olympic media team, they beautifully complemented each other. Shiffrin said: “Alex, he has some knowledge, so much, so many interesting ideas and so much input about the sport and also personality and how you should behave as a human. For me, he is such a role model as an athlete and also as a human. How he acts and how he treats people, his patience and motivation."

Kilde also added: “ We are just authentic and we don't need to hide anything. There is nothing to hide and of course, we need our privacy but we also get that. You know it's not that crazy."

The wonder couple also went on to share details about the details that keep their relationship sparkling. Mikaela said: "I feel like it's an equal amount of just having fun and being silly and laughing all the time. But also learning from him and thinking about better ways that I can be as a person."

Correspondingly, Aamodt Kilde added a few of his thoughts about the relationship: " Give space for your partner and also other human beings. It's something that I have experienced and is cool and a great way of living. That's how we also do our relationship. For me, it's all about just enjoying and being a part of someone that's like super into what you do and into you and that goes both ways and that's a good balance."

He has also represented his country in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The dexterous Norwegian also known as the “The Arnold Schwarzenegger of skiing", is infamous for his exceptional strength and weightlifting abilities. Moreover, his workout sessions are never alone as most of the time he is seen lighting weights with his girlfriend as seen often on his Instagram posts.
