Hailing from Davis, California, United States, Nyjah Huston is one of the most decorated skateboarders of the present time. He started skateboarding when he was just five years old. He already got his sponsor in skating when he was seven years old. Since then, he has pursued his craft towards becoming a professional skateboarder.

Huston has displayed his impressive skateboarding skills at both the World Championships and the Olympics. He has gained eleven medals in total from his World Championship performance. Out of these, six are gold medals and five are silver medals. Huston made his Olympic debut at the Tokyo Games in 2020, where he ranked #7th in street-men events. He is showing off his skateboarding skills for Team USA in his second Olympic appearance in Paris, France in 2024.

Nyjah Huston does not have a preference for speed while skating as per TMZ. When he was asked whether he would like to get the Wraith Vengeance V2 Prototype 13, considered to be the fastest electric skateboard with a speed of 82.25 mph, he declined and revealed that it was scary and too fast for him. He prefers to use his rails rather than using speedy skateboards.

Nyjah Huston earlier used Element Skateboards but his skateboard was custom-built by himself and Paul Schmitt, the legendary boardsmith as per Forbes. He had changed minor aspects of his skateboard over the years by making it a little less concave and also by making the nose and tail more mellow. However, Huston also launched his own brand called Disorder Skateboards in 2021. He designed them keeping in mind the individualistic, rebellious and expressive nature of skateboarding.
