Vincent Hancock, born on March 19, 1989, in Port Charlotte, Florida, is a renowned American shooter specializing in skeet.


A three-time Olympic gold medalist, Hancock claimed top honors in men's skeet at the 2008 Beijing, 2012 London, and 2020 Tokyo Olympics, making him the first skeet shooter to win consecutive Olympic golds. He has also secured six World Championship titles, beginning with his first at age 16 in 2005.


Hancock, a graduate of Troy University and former U.S. Army sergeant, has won 29 medals in various world competitions. He currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with his family.

Vincent Hancock's Olympic Medals Wins

Hancock has won three Olympic gold medals in men's skeet. His first gold medal came at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where he set a then-Olympic record.

Vincent Hancock's Olympic Journey

Vincent Hancock's Olympic journey began at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where he won his first Olympic gold medal in the men's skeet event with a then-Olympic record score of 121+24 in the final. At the 2012 London Olympics, he successfully defended his title, becoming the first skeet shooter to win consecutive Olympic gold medals with a final score of 123+25.


After a disappointing 15th-place finish at the 2016 Rio Olympics, Hancock bounced back at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, held in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He won his third Olympic gold medal in the men's skeet event, with a final score of 122+59.
