Allisha Gray is a professional basketball player who plays for the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA. In 2024, she had one of the best seasons of her career. After 2023, she was again named an All-Star in 2023, and in the 2024 WNBA All-Star weekend, she became the only player to win both the All-Star Skills Challenge and the All-Star three-point contest. In the second half of the 2024 WNBA season, the Atlanta Dream is pushing for the playoff spot and Gray is a valuable piece in that journey.

Gray played college basketball for both North Carolina (2013-15) and South Carolina (2016-17). She won the NCAA championship in her only season with the South Carolina Gamecocks and declared for the 2017 WNBA Draft. Allisha Gray was then drafted as the fourth overall pick by the Dallas Wings in the 2017 WNBA Draft. In 2017, she won the Rookie of the Year award, averaging 13 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

Gray was then traded to the Atlanta Dream in 2023 in exchange for two first-round picks (2023 and 2025). Since the trade, Gray has taken an enormous leap in her WNBA career and has become one of the top scorers on the Dream. In her first season with the Dream, she became one of four players in Dream’s history to score over 600 points in a single season.

Gray made her first All-Star appearance in 2023 and averaged a career-high 17.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game. In her second season with the Dream (2024), she averaged 15.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, shooting 34.2% from the three-point line on a career-high 5.1 attempts per game.
