Angel Reese College

Angel Reese is a star 6 feet 3 inches tall power forward for the WNBA's Chicago Sky. After a successful college career, Reese was selected as the seventh overall pick in the first round of the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky. Renowned for her elite rebounding abilities, Reese was born on May 6, 2002, in Randallstown, Maryland. Her mother's name is Angel as well and her father is Michael Reese. Colleges Attended by Angel Reese

Angel Reese has been a part of two colleges. First Angel Reese attended the University of Maryland. Then, Reese's college was changed as she transferred to Louisiana State University during her junior year.

University of Maryland (2020-2022)

Angel Reese started her collegiate basketball career by enrolling at the University of Maryland and playing collegiate basketball for the Maryland Terrapins. Despite suffering a Jones fracture in her right foot, she helped her team win the Big Ten Tournament.

For this, she was declared one of the members of the Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2021. During her sophomore 2021/22 season, Reese recorded her first double-double, which made her the first player from the Maryland Terrapins to achieve this after Angie Scott in 1975.

Throughout her two seasons with the team, she contributed 15.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. 1.3 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. She shot 49.3% from the field, including 17.6% from the three-point range.

Louisiana State University (2022-2024)

Angel Reese transferred to Louisiana State University ahead of the 2022/23 season to play collegiate basketball for the LSU Tigers. In her junior season with the team, her efforts led the LSU Tigers to become the NCAA champions in 2023 for the first time in their career.

For this, she was declared the Final Four Most Outstanding Player in 2023. She has since then made a pretty strong start to her senior 2023/24 season. Throughout two seasons and 69 games with the team, she averaged nearly 20.9 points per game, 14.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.9 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game as per Sports Reference.
