In game 3, Sky swept away the Mercury and won the game 86-50 to take an all crucial 2-1 lead in the finals. Sky’s bench contributed 32 points whereas on the other hand, Mercury’s bench only scored 19 points. Vandersloot recorded another 10 assists game and Copper scored 22 points on 60% shooting from the field to give the Sky a comfortable win in the finals.

In game 4, Mercury led 63-54 at the end of the third quarter and was determined to take the series to game 5. However, Sky had other plans and annihilated the Mercury 11-26 in the fourth quarter to win their first WNBA Championship. In the fourth quarter, Vandersloot had five assists, Quigley scored 11 points and Parker had six rebounds in a dramatic turnover to win the game 80-74.
