In the last championship season, Cardoso averaged 14.4 points and 9.8 rebounds per match and was awarded The Most Outstanding Player in the tournament. In the 2024 WNBA draft Cardoso was selected 3rd overall pick by The Chicago Sky and played as the main center for the team. In the 2023-24 WNBA season, she averaged 8.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per match.
