The Unrivaled tournament tipped off on Friday, and day two should provide fans with plenty of entertainment, with Angel Reese's Rose Basketball Club taking on the Lunar Owls at Wayfair Arena. Reese is healthy and will suit up for Rose BC as her team looks to bounce back after Friday's opening-day defeat to the Vinyl BC.
Reese had a strong start in the competion, recording a double-double (10 points, 12 rebounds) in her first outing.
Angel Reese is considered one of the WNBA's top players after an exceptional rookie season that saw her lead the league with 13.1 rebounds per game. The Maryland native led the Chicago Sky in rebounds and steals and ranked third in the lineup in points and blocks.
Reese was a star athlete at LSU and helped guide her team to the NCAA national championship in 2023. She was the seventh overall pick in the 2024 draft, and the 22-year-old is gradually developing into one of league's elite players. The 6-foot-3 power forward is known for her sound defense and the high intensity with which she approaches every game.
Angel Reese will team up with some of the WNBA's biggest names, including Chelsea Gray, Kahleah Cooper and Lexie Hull, on the Rose BC roster as they go in search of the first Unrivaled title.

The Unrivaled competition was originally founded by WNBA players Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart.
The first edition of the 3-on-3 tournament has garnered plenty of attention, and some of the game's biggest stars were eager to be a part of the action.
WNBA All-Stars Angel Reese, Jackie Young, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Jewell Loyd, Brittney Grinner, Sabrina Ionescu, Kahleah Cooper and Arike Ogunbowale are some of the household names who will feature at the tournament.
Unrivaled offers an new, exciting and fast-pace format that should provide plenty of entertainment for fans. The games will be played on smaller courts (70 feet long) with quarters lasting just seven minutes. The shot clock will also be cut down to 18 seconds instead of the usual 24 used in the WNBA.
Unrivaled games will be played in Miami, Florida, and the tournament will go on for eight weeks. The games will be available to watch on TNT and truTV. Fans will also be able to stream the games on DirecTV, Sling and Max.
