Las Vegas Aces after winning the 2023 WNBA Championship

The Las Vegas Aces are reaping the rewards of a perfect rebuild after going through a playoff drought from 2015-2018. In these years, the Aces drafted Kelsey Plum in 2017, A’ja Wilson in 2018 and Jackie Young in 2019. After losing the 2020 WNBA Finals, the Aces signed Chelsea Gray as a free agent and went on to win back-to-back championships in 2022 and 2023.

The Aces have picked up pace at the right time in the 2024 season and defeated the Fever in back-to-back road games and topped it with a win against the Connecticut Sun to make a late push for the third seed. However, if the Aces manage to win the 2024 WNBA Championship, it would be the only second three-peat in the history of the WNBA.
