Napheesa Collier revealed reasons why she thinks Unrivaled is a success

Ahead of the inaugural game, Napheesa Collier already said that the Unrivaled league is thriving.

"Success, we've already accomplished that," Collier said.

She mentioned that the response from fans indicates that the league is already a success. She added that even before playing a single game, Unrivaled has affected women's basketball in a multitude of ways.

"Even though we haven't played a game yet, the response we've had and the ecosystem that we're affecting without playing a game. Salaries are going up across the board, overseas and in other domestic leagues. We have our CBA negotiations. From that, we feel successful already," she added.

Surely, Unrivaled gives fans a new flavor as it will be played differently than a regular WNBA game.
