Angel Reese's Rose BC teammate Kahleah Copper dons 4× Pro Bowler's iconic jersey to support Eagles ahead of NFL Conference championship

If there was ever a Philly girl through and through, it would have to be nine-year WNBA veteran Kahleah Copper. A native of North Philadelphia, Copper played high school hoops in the City of Brotherly Love, making both the All-State team and the McDonald's All-American team.

Copper is also a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. On Sunday, with the Eagles squaring off against the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round, the Phoenix Mercury guard went on Instagram to proudly support her hometown team:

"LET'S HUNTTTT," wrote Cooper in her caption. "s/o to @mitchellandness for making sure I was prepared on GAMEDAY. #JustAKidFromNorFPhilly"

She showed her support by wearing the #12 jersey of Randall Cunningham, a former Eagles quarterback and a four-time Pro Bowler.

Copper, who plays alongside Angel Reese for Rose BC in the new 3x3 league Unrivaled, must have been delighted to see the outcome of the divisional round game. Amidst an unforgiving blizzard, the Eagles beat the Rams 28-22 to advance to the NFC Championship Game.

While Philadelphia had a good reason to celebrate on Sunday, Copper and Reese could have had a better weekend in Unrivaled. On Friday, despite Copper's 24 points and Reese's double-double (10 points, 14 rebounds), Rose BC lost 79-73 to Vinyl BC. The next day, Rose BC suffered their second loss to the Lunar Owls, who fed off a 31-point explosion of Unrivaled co-founder Napheesa Collier.

Kahleah Copper and Reese will have a chance to notch up Rose BC's first win when they take on Mist BC, which features the other Unrivaled co-founder Breanna Stewart, on Saturday.

Is Angel Reese targeting Kahleah Copper as the newest addition to Chicago Sky?

Once the inaugural season of Unrivaled wraps up, Copper and Reese will turn their focus back to the 2025 WNBA season. They play for different WNBA teams, but that might not be the case when the new season tips off.

Last week, Rose BC posted an Instagram video of Copper and Reese practicing their field goals under the basket. The grizzled vet Copper seemingly had a blast spending time with Reese:

As if to fuel speculations, Reese posted a not-so-subtle comment:

"Granny to Chicago on 3.1...2...3"

As the Chicago Sky look to bounce back from their last-place finish in the Eastern Conference last season, Reese and the Sky front office will look for huge swings to improve the roster. The veteran Kahleah Copper would be a welcome addition.
