LA Sparks rising star Cameron Brink made headlines earlier this year when she announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Ben Felter. Felter proposed on Sept. 30 in a picturesque setting in Paris, in front of the Eiffel Tower.
In a video posted by Whistle Sports, which included a prank orchestrated by Felter, children asked Brink for her thoughts on online reactions to her engagement.
“Honestly, I feel like it's just like this ongoing joke,” Brink said.
The LA Sparks center laughed as the young host read out some of the comments, including “My life is over!”, “We failed!” and “Is this guy bothering you?”
Felter shared the video of the prank on his Instagram Stories with a simple three-word caption:
“This is amazing.”
As the prank unfolded, Brink immediately suspected Felter was behind it, saying:
“Hi friends! Hi! What's going on? Did Bengus (Ben Felter) prank me? Where is Bengus?”
She also offered some relationship advice to a young host, who mentioned his mother said he couldn’t get married.
“Well, that's because she loves you.” Brink said.
