Jimmy Butler's touching courtside gesture sparks 1-word reaction from Satou Sabally after dinner night

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler was courtside for an Unrivaled game between Phantom BC and Vinyl BC on Monday. The former Chicago Bulls forward’s heartfelt gesture prompted a one-word reaction from Phantom BC star Satou Sabaly, who had been spotted having dinner with Butler the night before.

The Unrivaled League's official Instagram account posted a picture of Butler in attendance for the Phantom BC's second game of the season. Captioning the post with a short message, they wrote:

" Looks like the Ghost Gang has a new president 🫡shout out to @jimmybutler for coming out and showing Unrivaled much love! 👻👑"

Jimmy was seen donning a Sabally jersey as he showed support to his friend through a touching gesture. The post prompted a response from Satou, as she dropped a 1-word reaction to Butler's appearance:

"Ayeeee👻👻," the Dallas Wings star wrote, showing love to Jimmy.

Although Jimmy's support for Sabally may have surprised some, those following Butler on Instagram would have noticed that the duo dined together the night before. The Miami Heat star took to Instagram to post an array of stories during dinner at Miami's Italian restaurant "Carbone."

Butler was seen enjoying dinner with a couple of friends, and Satou was in attendance. Jimmy posted a picture of her, tagging her in his Instagram story.

Jimmy Butler, a key player for the Miami Heat, was suspended by the franchise on Jan. 3 for attempting to force a trade away from Florida ahead of the deadline. Currently in the final year of his contract, the former Timberwolves star received a 7-game suspension due to his comments and behavior directed towards the staff in the front office.

Despite being suspended, Butler found a way to stick close to the game he loves by training with Satou Sabally, a star for the Dallas Wings, who was preparing for the Unrivaled League. Sabally found a great mentor in Butler, as they were seen doing multiple drills together on social media:

"We workin," Jimmy wrote in the reel featuring him, Sabally and Phantom BC coach Adam Harrington.

Jimmy has since returned from his suspension, starting in the Heat's loss against the Denver Nuggets on Jan. 17. During his absence, the Heat struggled, posting a record of 3 wins and 4 losses. The team is hopeful for a quick turnaround with Butler back in the lineup.
