Noelle Monique Quinn was born on January 3, 1985, in Los Angeles, California, United States of America. She is an American basketball coach and has been the head coach of the Seattle Storm since 2021. Quinn was the assistant coach of the Canadian Women’s National Basketball Team in the 2022 FIBA Women’s World Cup. She was a professional basketball player, playing as the point guard for the Minnesota Lynx, Los Angeles Sparks, Washington Mystics, Seattle Storm, and Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA. She was drafted by the Minnesota Lynx as their fourth pick in the 2007 WNBA Draft. Quinn played for eleven years and won the 2018 WNBA Championship with the Seattle Storm. Quinn participated in the Bulgarian Women's National Basketball Team after becoming a naturalised Bulgarian citizen in 2007.
Quinn started her career as a coach in 2016 at Bishop Montgomery High School, where she completed her high school. After taking her retirement from playing career, she joined the Seattle Storm as their assistant coach in 2019, and then the associate head coach of the Storm in the 2020-2021 season. She was the head coach when the Minnesota Lynx won the WNBA Commissioner's Cup. The Storm won the 2020 WNBA Championship under their head coach, Gary Kloppenburg, and associate head coach, Noelle Quinn. After Dan Hughes’s retirement, Quinn was named the head coach of the Storm on May 30, 2021. Quinn was the lead assistant coach of the Canadian Women’s Basketball Team in the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament in 2024.
