Nyara Sabally is a professional basketball player who was born on February 26, 2000, in Berlin, Germany. She is a forward for the New York Liberty in the WNBA and is 6 feet 5 inches tall. Sabally’s path to professional basketball was not easy as she suffered from multiple ACL injuries that made her sit out her first two seasons at the University of Oregon. Nonetheless, she bounced back and became the team’s leading scorer and rebounder during her redshirt sophomore and junior seasons.
