Suzanne Brigit Bird is a legend of women’s basketball who last played for The Seattle Storm in the 2022-23 season of the WNBA. The entire career of the WNBA, she played for one single team, the Seattle Storm. She started her basketball career at Syosset High School but because of less competition, she shifted to Christ the King Regional High School which was located in New York. In school, she won the New York state championship and became the best player in the country. After a successful school career, she moved to the best college in the state which was The UConn Huskies women's basketball team under the University of Connecticut. She ended her college career as the most decorated college basketball player of all time in the history of women’s basketball.

Bird was selected as the first overall pick by The Seattle Storm in the 2002 WNBA draft. In her rookie year, she made an ALL-Star selection. As going on her career she became a four-time WNBA champion and made 13-time WNBA All-Star selections. Outside of the WNBA, she also had success in the russian league where she became a five-time champion.
