The Vinyl BC tipped off their Unrivaled season with a 79-73 win over the Rose BC on Friday. Vinyl closed out the game in style as Arike Ogunbowale made a flashy assist to Dearica Hamby before running off the court, with Hamby making the final shot of the contest to secure a six-point lead.

Rhyne Howard led the Vinyl's victory charge with a 33-point performace along with six rebounds, one assist, a steal and two blocks. Dearica Hamby added a double-double stat line of 17 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks in the win.

Meanwhile, Phantom BC suffered an 86-48 loss against the LAces BC on Saturday to kick off their Unrivaled campaign.
