At the upcoming Bad Blood PLE on October 6th, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will team up to face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. This will be a historic moment in professional wrestling due to the long-standing rivalry between Reigns and Rhodes.
However, at Bad Blood, the duo will have to set aside their differences and come together as a unit to beat Sikoa and Fatu. The only thing that stands in their way is a potential interference from the rest of The Bloodline. However, if that happens, there is a chance Nathan Frazer and Axiom could help Reigns and Rhodes.
On last week's episode of NXT, the 2-time champions were defending the NXT Tag Team Championships against Street Profits. That's when The Bloodline without Solo Sikoa interfered and took out the Street Profits. While this interference helped Frazer and Axiom, they weren't too delighted by it.
As a matter of fact, Frazer, after the match, said he would support the Tribal Chief, but the real one. This statement from the NXT Superstar, mixed with the circumstances of potential interference from Bloodline at Bad Blood, could lead to Frazer and Axiom helping Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
Wrestling analyst recently spoke about Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes happening at WrestleMania 41
Before WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns was a heel. However, when he returned at SummerSlam 2024, the Original Tribal Chief became a babyface and is now cheered by the WWE Universe. Due to this, and the fact he will be teaming up with Cody Rhodes, a match between Reigns and Rhodes does not seem like a possibility in the immediate future.
However, a wrestling analyst recently said that the Stamford-based promotion could look to book this match for WrestleMania 41. The wrestling analyst in question is Sam Roberts. During an episode of the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts said:
"WWE can have all the plans in the world that they want. WWE can plan to do Rock vs. Cody. WWE can plan to do Rock vs. Roman. But ultimately, when you look at Cody and Roman and you see them in the ring together, you may come to the conclusion, as we head towards April, there's only one duo in the history of WWE that has the ability to headline, to main event three consecutive WrestleManias." Until now, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes have faced each other in the main event of two WrestleManias. The first one, which took place at WrestleMania 39, was won by Reigns whereas the second one, which took place at WrestleMania 40 was won by The American Nightmare.
