At the upcoming Bad Blood Premium Live Event in October, Solo Sikoa will team up with Jacob Fatu to face Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes in a Tag Team Match.
While Sikoa and Fatu aren't people to be messed with, Reigns and Rhodes are massive favorites to win this clash. After all, the duo are two of WWE's most popular babyfaces on the current roster. However, if WWE books the favorites to win, it might not be the best idea, as this loss could hurt Sikoa in more ways than one.
In this article, we will look at three reasons why the new Solo Sikoa losing at Bad Blood is not ideal:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#3. Solo Sikoa would be losing to the men he wants to replace
Since taking over as the leader of The Bloodline, Solo Sikoa has mainly held a grudge against Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, the men he wants to replace.
Sikoa's actions against the two superstars would make it seem like his entire career in WWE revolves around taking these men out. And if he fails at this task at Bad Blood, it would immediately put an end to the hype around him as he would be losing to the men he would like to replace the most.
Hence, WWE needs to book this match, keeping the same in mind.
#2. Questions regarding his credibility
Due to Roman Reigns' popularity, it's clear that regardless of how well Solo Sikoa does as Tribal Chief, his credibility will be questioned.
Even though Sikoa has done a decent job as the Tribal Chief, it seems like apart from The Bloodline members, no one is ready to acknowledge him. In such a scenario, if he loses again, it will further raise questions about his credibility as leader of his faction.
This dent in credibility could harm Sikoa when he continues to pursue his rivalry against Roman Reigns and his version of The Bloodline.
#1. Puts Solo Sikoa on the bad side of Jacob Fatu
When Solo Sikoa was Roma Reigns' Enforcer, The Head of the Table groomed him with a winner's mindset.
Sikoa, today, is bringing up Jacob Fatu in a similar way. If he is booked to lose at WWE Bad Blood, this, in some way, would affect his relationship with his Enforcer, The Samoan Werewolf.
Jacob has already witnessed Sikoa being defeated clean by Cody Rhodes on SmackDown recently. If this trend of losing continues at Bad Blood, he might lose faith in Solo as a leader.
This could lead to him turning his back on his Tribal Chief, and this would prove to be costly for Sikoa. Hence, WWE must be very cautious in the manner they book this Tag Team Match at Bad Blood.
