The WWE loves using the Hall of Fame to welcome back former talent, and amongst all the former WWE stars that they would love to have back, Sable would be somewhere amongst the top of their list. Sable initially joined the promotion alongside her then-husband, Marc Mero. While Sable initially appeared on WWF tv as Hunter Hearst Helmsley's valet at Wrestlemania 12. She would then manage her husband before the two would enter into a feud as Sable's popularity rose in the WWF.

While Sable was limited talent wise in regards to in-ring wrestling talent, she still won the Women's title at Survivor Series 1998, defeating former champion Jacqueline. Sable would hold the belt for several months before losing it controversially to Debra.

While Sable would beat Debra in an evening gown match, the Commissioner Shawn Michaels awarded Debra the title as her dress had come off. After losing the title, she would become the first WWF wrestler to pose for Playboy magazine.

Following her first exit from the company, Sable sued the WWF claiming that she was sexually harassed during her time at the promotion and worked in unsafe conditions. The WWF counter-sued Sable over the trademark to the name, and the two parties settled out of court. Sable would make appearances at WCW's Nitro program after her exit as a member of the audience as well as serving as the on-air CEO of the Xcitement Wrestling Federation.

Sable would then return to the WWF in 2003, feuding with Torrie Wilson after Wilson appeared in Playboy magazine. Sable would then transition to a feud with Stephanie McMahon as Sable was positioned as Vince McMahon's mistress.

She would wrestle with the company until August 2004, At the same time, she divorced her husband Marc Mero and began dating Brock Lesnar. Lesnar has since stated that Sable isn't interested in returning to Wrestling, as she prefers to spend time with her family instead.

Given the working relationship between the WWE and Brock Lesnar, it seems to make sense that Sable is also brought back into the fold to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame as a headliner.
