Tiffany Stratton's time may be coming sooner rather than later. WWE uses two different strategies when it comes to booking Money in the Bank winners. The first is that the winner cashes in within days of claiming the briefcase.
The other strategy involves waiting six months or longer, prolonging the anticipation for a potential title swap. If both stars cashed in on the same night or in the same week, it would take away a great storytelling tool.
Drew McIntyre tried to execute a successful same-night cash-in but was thwarted by CM Punk. Tiffany Stratton has chosen to wait a few months, but her time may be coming for the next five reasons.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#5. She's teased doing so a few times
When a star is booked to wait before the actual cash-in, they often fail in several attempts before the actual act. This allows anticipation to build for the eventual moment when a title change could occur.
Tiffany Stratton has already teased a cash-in several times. Some were on Bayley before Nia Jax defeated her. Other times, she's interfered in matches to help Jax win.
It's easy to see her thinking process go down when she's in the ring with her case and a vulnerable champion. Since it's been an ongoing possibility over the last few weeks, the actual moment may happen in the next month.
#4. Tiffany Stratton is tired of Nia's treatment
What started as a nice friendship between two completely different stars has turned into a classic trope of the bigger star abusing the smaller. Tiffany Stratton has always been a bubbly heel who only cares about herself.
Nia Jax has always imposed her will on opponents. That imposition of will has extended to Stratton since she won the Money in the Bank contract. Over the last few months, several moments of miscommunication have driven a wedge between the allies.
Tiffany Stratton almost cashed in on Bayley before Jax had her shot at the champion. Jax also felt Tiffie was going to do the same after she won the belt. Nia has bullied the former NXT Women's Champion, and she may be tired of the abuse. Stratton even called in sick on the latest SmackDown.
#3. The cheers get louder for Tiffany Stratton each week
Some stars just connect with the audience faster than others. That was the case for Tiffany Stratton when she joined the main roster before WrestleMania. Stratton competed in the women's Elimination Chamber match.
The Australian fans cheered for her while she waited patiently inside her tube. Her outlandish character and skills between the ropes made cheering for her easy.
Fans will support whomever they like, and they like Tiffy Time. Nia Jax and Liv Morgan are hated heels, so a cash-in will only make Stratton more popular than she already is.
#2. Nia Jax told her to cash in on Liv Morgan
After weeks of tension, Nia Jax told Stratton that she should cash in on Liv Morgan instead. She even handed Morgan to the Center of the Universe on a silver platter after a tag team contest on RAW.
WWE has kept the Money in the Bank winners strictly focused on the champions of their brands. Iyo Sky and Damian Priest stuck to their brands in 2023, and this year's winners have followed suit.
Triple H has improved the product vastly but has been predictable with most of his booking tactics. The beauty of a cash-in is that it could happen to any champion on any brand. Since Tiffany Stratton may have an issue toppling Jax, she should turn her focus to catching Morgan off-guard.
#1. She can pick her prey at Crown Jewel with both champions present
WWE rarely has the two major champs of a division on the same show, let alone in the same match. That will change with the introduction of the Crown Jewel Championships. Jax will face Morgan, leaving both titleholders vulnerable should either be obliterated by the other.
When Roman Reigns was the lone major singles champ, it didn't offer much unpredictability for Austin Theory. For that reason, his Money in the Bank win was unfortunately a waste of time. Having both titleholders present at Crown Jewel will provide Stratton with the option to do one of two things.
She can do what her Queen asks or defy her orders and stand up for herself. Fans will be rabid for a change either way. The Judgment Day is around to prevent Morgan from being vulnerable, so Jax may end up the target of a cash-in.
