Having big roles in Blade Runner 2049 and James Bond hit Spectre, Batista's biggest film role to date has been as Drax the Destroyer, part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Guardians of the Galaxy.

Having Batista be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame would definitely bring mainstream exposure to the company, just in time for WrestleMania 36 the next night.

In a time when the WWE is constantly making a name for itself in the mainstream media (for both good and bad reasons), this would definitely be a plus.
