#1 Kurt Angle - WWE Hall of Fame (2017), IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Fame (2013)

The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017 was headlined by the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. With this honor, he became only the second wrestler (after Sting_ to get inducted into both the IMPACT Wrestling and WWE Hall of Fame.
Angle started his career as an amateur wrestler and went on to win a gold medal in the Summer Olympics 1996. He then focused on professional wrestling and signed with WWF in 1998. Angle went on to have a great run with the promotion, as he won multiple titles and main-evented WrestleMania XIX in 2003.
In 2006, TNA Wrestling announced that Angle had signed with the company. The Olympic gold medalist was a genuine star in TNA, where he won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship six times. He also won the TNA X-Division title and the TNA World Tag Team titles.
He also became a two-time King of the Mountain winner. In 2013, Kurt Angle became the second wrestler to be inducted into the TNA/IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Angle returned to WWE in 2017, and he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his long-time rival John Cena. Following his WWE Hall of Fame induction, Angle became the new general manager of Monday Night RAW.
He had quite a few major matches following this development, and he finally had his retirement match against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. Angle was released from his WWE contract in April 2020, but he remains an iconic part of WWE history.
