#2. Sid Vicious
Sid Eudy went by many names during his wrestling career, including Sid Justice, Sid Vicious and Sycho Sid. While Sid was only in WWE for a brief time, his impact on the sport is still worthy of a spot within the Hall of Fame.
During his short run with the company, he managed to capture the WWE Championship twice. Sid was also a two-time WCW Champion.
While Sid's stops in WWE and WCW never lasted more than a couple of years at a time, he still managed to find himself working with the best talent each company had to offer.
In his first run in WWE, he worked with the likes of Ted DiBiase, Randy Savage, Jake Roberts, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and The Undertaker. During his time in WCW, he worked angles with Sting, Vader, and Ric Flair. When Sid returned to WWE in the late 90's, he worked with Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, and Diesel.
Sid made an immediate impact everywhere he went, and he is bound to make that same impact in the WWE Hall of Fame when his name is finally called.
#1. Earl Hebner
WWE has never allowed a referee to enter the Hall of Fame. According to former WCW and WWE referee Nick Patrick, this has to do with paying royalties.
Whatever the reason, WWE needs to move past it. Not many referees deserve to be enshrined in the WWE Hall of Fame, but there are certainly a few, and one of them is Earl Hebner.
When you think of the attitude era, one of the things that comes to mind is Hebner. As the senior referee, he was the one in all the main-event matches during that era. He was the one taking all the big bumps in the ring and standing up to the likes of Vince McMahon, Triple H, and others when they got out of line.
In many ways, Hebner was another on-screen performer, as he was just as much a part of the story as the wrestlers were. This was no more apparent than the time he thought he was going to be killed because of something he did on TV.
Ask a wrestling fan to name the best referee of all-time and odds are Hebner's name will be mentioned more often than not. That alone should be enough for the legendary ref to take his place in the WWE Hall of Fame.
