Gunther is an American Professional Wrestler signed with WWE RAW as of March 2025. He is the leader of the Imperium stable with Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. He is the longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion on his first reign and the former longest-reigning NXT UK Champion. Walter made his professional Wrestling debut in 2005 and started wrestling for Westside Xtreme Wrestling promotion in Germany, where he was the three-time WXW Unified World Wrestling Champion and four-time WXW World Tag Team Champion.

Walter also wrestled for Progress Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, where he was the former World Champion. Walter signed with WWE in 2019, enjoying a three-year-long run in NXT UK, and was the NXT UK Champion throughout his time. He held the championship for 870 days, which is the longest reign for the title and is one of the longest title reigns of the company.
