How did Tonga Loa get injured on WWE SmackDown?

The Bloodline duo of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa were scheduled to participate in a tag team gauntlet match on WWE SmackDown to determine the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

At the start of the show, General Manager Nick Aldis was seen backstage with The Bloodline, where Tonga Loa was noticeably wearing an eyepatch. Aldis warned The Bloodline that they would need to forfeit their spot as Loa was clearly injured.

Fans have since been wondering what happened to The Infamous. It seems Tonga Loa might have suffered an injury during the group's brawl with Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens last week.

While Loa and Owens were going at it, The Prizefighter targeted Loa's eyes. He was clearly affected by this incident, as he was unable to participate further in The Bloodline's attack and was instead seen selling his eye injury.

During the show this week, Solo Sikoa told Nick Aldis that Jacob Fatu would be replacing Tonga Loa in the tag team gauntlet match, which Aldis agreed to.

Tonga Loa sent a message to Kevin Owens after WWE SmackDown

Kevin Owens is the latest addition to the list of victims targeted by The Bloodline, led by Solo Sikoa. He was brutally attacked by the Samoan faction last week after he decided to team up with Cody Rhodes for a tag team match against A-Town Down Under.

During the brawl between The Bloodline and Kevin Owens, Owens took out Tonga Loa by targeting his eye, which Loa was seen selling for the rest of the episode. After the show, The Infamous One sent a message to Owens, saying that it's not over between them.

"KO, it ain't over," Tonga Loa said.
