
Iyo Sky is a Japanese professional wrestler hailing from Kanagawa. She was born on May 8, 1990, in Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan. Sky made her debut at the age of 16 and wrestled in the independent circuits of Japan and Mexico. In 2011, she was signed to World Wonder Ring Stardom, where she wrestled for seven years before joining WWE in 2017. There, she wrestled under the name Io Shirai at first.
She became one of the most successful female wrestlers in NXT before joining the main roster in 2022 under the name Iyo Sky. Known for her incredible athletics, she has had a very decorated career in WWE. Sky has won the Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, the Money in the Bank briefcase, the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, the NXT Women’s Championship, the WWE Women’s Championship and the Women's World Heavyweight Championship.
