A major stipulation for the Women's World Championship match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley at WWE Bad Blood was announced during tonight's edition of RAW. Dominik Mysterio will be suspended above the ring in a shark cage for the match.
Dirty Dom betrayed Rhea Ripley during the Women's World Championship match at SummerSlam and helped Liv Morgan retain the title. The 27-year-old could potentially get involved in the title match at WWE Bad Blood while suspended above the ring.
Listed below are five ways Dominik Mysterio could escape the shark cage during the Women's World Championship match at WWE Bad Blood.
Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE
#5. The Judgment Day could attempt to break Dominik Mysterio out of the shark cage at WWE Bad Blood
Dominik Mysterio has relied on The Judgment Day to carry him to success on RAW, and he could be relying on his stablemates again at WWE Bad Blood. Finn Balor will be competing against Damian Priest at the premium live event on October 5, but Carlito and JD McDonagh are not on the card.
McDonagh and Carlito may decide to hide under the ring and attempt to free Dominik Mysterio during the match. If Mysterio can escape the cage, he could then get involved in the Women's World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan.
#4. Mysterio could make a copy of the key to the cage
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce confirmed during a backstage segment on the red brand that Dominik Mysterio would be locked inside a shark cage at WWE Bad Blood. Pearce noted that Mysterio constantly interferes in The Judgment Day's matches, and this was a way to ensure that wouldn't happen.
However, Mysterio may have a plan in place to escape the shark cage next month. The former NXT North American Champion could steal the original key for the cage and make a copy for himself ahead of the PLE. Dom could then unlock the cage at the perfect time to cost Rhea Ripley the Women's World Championship once again.
#3. Dirty Dom could pretend to apologize to Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio were involved in a storyline relationship until WWE SummerSlam last month. Mysterio betrayed Ripley at the premium live event and is now aligned with Liv Morgan on RAW.
During the Women's World Championship match at Bad Blood on October 5, Mysterio may attempt to apologize to Ripley to garner sympathy from his former love interest. However, if The Eradicator unlocks the cage for Mysterio, he will likely betray her once again.
#2. Dominik Mysterio could trick his father
Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio have been involved in a rivalry for years now. Rey has gotten the better of his son at the past two WrestleMania events, but Dirty Dom may have a devious plan in mind for WWE Bad Blood.
Dominik Mysterio could sneak a microphone into the shark cage and ask for his dad to come to the ring and unlock him. The WWE Hall of Famer may feel compelled to help his son despite their issues and would likely regret the decision the moment he unlocked the shark cage.
#1. Liv Morgan could steal the key before the match
Liv Morgan successfully stole Mysterio from Rhea Ripley and could be planning on playing mind games with RAW General Manager Adam Pearce ahead of WWE Bad Blood. The Women's World Champion may request a meeting with the former NWA Champion at Bad Blood, as she intends to find the key to the shark cage before the match.
The 30-year-old could lull Pearce into a false sense of security by complimenting his work as RAW General Manager, all while searching his office for the key to the shark cage at the same time. Morgan would then be able to toss the key up to Mysterio so that her stablemate could free himself during the Women's World Championship match at Bad Blood.
