Bayley reacts as 31-year-old star makes sudden WWE debut

This week’s episode of WWE NXT saw Bayley react to the unexpected debut of a 31-year-old on the developmental brand. Notably, the wrestler had been rumored to have joined the Stamford-based promotion for months and finally appeared today on NXT. The name in question is none other than Stephanie Vaquer.

NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and Giulia were sitting in the ring for a press conference ahead of their upcoming clash for the title in the main event of the night. WWE’s Byron Saxton was interviewing both stars for their match after the white and gold brand’s shift to the CW Network. However, the party was crashed by Stephanie Vaquer who appeared on the big screen and addressed Perez and Giulia.

“It's Stephanie. My question is: 'What are you going to do when you have me waiting on the other side of your NXT Women's Championship match?'” said Vaquer.

This prompted The Beautiful Madness and The Prodigy to promptly end the interview. Reacting to this, Bayley added the video clip of Vaquer’s debut shared by WWE NXT to her Instagram Stories.

So far, the sparks flying between Giulia and Roxy were already strong enough to generate a great response from the WWE Universe. But, Vaquer’s arrival has changed things. Moreover, even The Beautiful Madness, who had looked invincible so far, looked a bit concerned about the addition of Vaquer to the equation.

Giulia looked phased after the WWE debut of Stephanie Vaquer

Giulia has clearly carried over her fearless persona from Japan to WWE when she made her debut at No Mercy. The Beautiful Madness never failed to have an arrogant look in her eyes as she returned fire verbally at Roxanne Perez each time she took the mic.

She even disposed of Chelsea Green with a single G-Trigger when The Hot Mess tried to attack her. Despite this, she looked visibly phased when Stephanie Vaquer’s face was on the big screen.

Going by what Vaquer said, she will probably take her sweet time and wait for whoever emerges as the victor in the clash between Giulia and Roxy. Thus, while The Beautiful Madness may be prepared to take on one Herculean superstar, taking on two giants in one night was definitely not on her checklist.

It would be interesting to see what Vaquer’s arrival means for The Prodigy and her challenger Giulia.
