Ahead of an impending Hell in a Cell match at WWE Bad Blood, CM Punk appears to be stone-cold. But that is not only because he is sick and tired of Drew McIntyre.
Over the years, there have been many instances when fans on social media cross their line when discussing WWE Superstars. While some athletes let it slide, others make it a point to call out such fans.
Punk did the same today, to an Instagram account — @puadafaproductions, for some controversial comments. The Straight Edge Superstar was not impressed by the user and clarified he didn't understand what some remarks were supposed to mean, but nonetheless wanted to shame the internet user.
"Bring back shaming. I don't even understand what this is supposed to mean," he wrote.

The Straight Edge Superstar further urged the person behind the account to get some help for his "mental illness," highlighting some more comments the latter made. Punk did not hesitate to shut down the individual's comments:
"OOOOH, it's mental illness. Hope you find help," he added.
Drew McIntyre's in-ring promo this past Monday was strikingly similar to what Punk delivered last week. Former WWE writer Vince Russo pointed to how lackluster creative was this time around as they have no idea what to do with them.
Tommy Dreamer feels CM Punk vs. Gunther is inevitable after WWE Bad Blood
At Bad Blood, the general sentiment is that the Hell in a Cell Match will cap off Punk and McIntyre's months long rivalry. What is next for either man remains unclear as of this writing. Elsewhere, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther has been rejecting Sami Zayn's challenge for a title shot.
Speaking on Busted Open After Dark, Tommy Dreamer noted that it makes sense for The Straight Edge Superstar to face The Ring General next, should he win the Hell in a Cell Match:
"I think the only place CM Punk can go is the world title. I think, we have a CM Punk/Gunther match, that's a massive main event waiting. Drew [McIntyre], I don't know where he goes. It maybe gives Drew a little bit of time away."
Interestingly, Dreamer also feels that if Drew McIntyre walks out of State Farm Arena on October 5 with the win, The Scottish Warrior could realistically turn babyface and face Gunther. Meanwhile, whether The Ring General eventually accepts Sami Zayn's challenge bears watching.
