A Damage CTRL member shared a heartbreaking update on social media following another loss on WWE RAW. The name in question is former NXT Women's Champion Kairi Sane.
The 35-year-old locked horns with Lyra Valkyria and Shayna Baszler in a Triple Threat Money in the Bank qualifier match. The three superstars put forth an action-packed contest, which ended with Valkyria hitting the Nightwing on the Damage CTRL member for the win. The 27-year-old became the third superstar to qualify for the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match after IYO SKY and Chelsea Green.
Kairi Sane, on the other hand, faced another loss, further extending her winless streak. The former NXT Women's Champion's last victory was on the RAW before WrestleMania XL. After the show, Sane took to Instagram to share a picture of herself looking devastated following the loss:
"I'm not crying!!!!!" she wrote in the caption.

Damage CTRL member reflects on Kairi Sane's WWE return
Kairi Sane parted ways with WWE in 2020, four years after signing with the Stamford-based company. The Japanese performer returned to the wrestling promotion at Crown Jewel 2023 to help IYO SKY defend the Women's Championship against Bianca Belair. She later joined Damage CTRL.
Speaking on her Twitch stream, her stablemate Dakota Kai revealed that she came to know about Kairi's return a day before the premium live event. She mentioned meeting IYO SKY and Kairi Sane in Japan in 2014. Kai further pointed out that while Sane is a sweetheart, she is also deadly:
"Not that long. Not that long at all. Almost as though we found out the day before. There's a lot of stuff that we don't find out until the day of. I was so happy. I met IYO and Kairi almost 10 years ago, my first tour of Japan in 2013/2014. It was right when my tour was ending. We hung out and went to dinner. Kairi is a sweetheart. She's also deadly. You do not want to cross her," she said. [H/T: Fightful]
Damage CTRL seems to have lost the plot following WrestleMania XL. IYO SKY lost the WWE Women's Championship to Bayley at The Showcase of the Immortals. The Kabuki Warriors then lost the Women's Tag Team Titles to Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair at Backlash. And to make matters worse, Asuka has been forced out of action following a knee injury.
