Bayley challenged Nia Jax for the WWE Women's Championship at Bad Blood. Tiffany Stratton tried to cash in her contract during the bout, but she was unsuccessful.
The Buff Barbie has been teasing a cash-in for quite some time now. At SummerSlam, she interfered in The Role Model's match with The Irresistible Force. She tried to cash in her Money in the Bank contract during the bout, and it ended up costing Bayley the match and the title.
Last night on SmackDown, the former NXT Women's Champion again teased a cash-in, but Nia Jax took notice and left. During the WWE Women's Championship match at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, the referee was taken out by Jax. Stratton saw an opportunity and ran down to the ring with the briefcase.
She tried to revive Jessika Carr, but Nia Jax sat up, and she was forced to abandon her plan. When Bayley went to the top rope, Stratton tossed the Money in the Bank contract at her, causing a distraction. Jax then planted The Role Model with an Avalanche Samoan Drop and hit the Annihilator to win the match and retain the title.
Tiffany Stratton's cash-in attempt was unsuccessful again. It'll be interesting to see how this affects her friendship with The Irresistible Force.
