An injured WWE Superstar shared an update of herself training today on social media. The star in question has not competed in a match since February 13.
Shotzi suffered a torn ACL earlier this year during an NXT Women's Championship match against Lyra Valkyria and has been out of action for 232 days. She took to her Instagram story today to share a video of herself training for her in-ring return. The veteran can be seen in a knee brace, and you can check out the video on Instagram by clicking here.
Shotzi signed with the promotion in 2019 and is a former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion with Ember Moon, who is now known as Athena in AEW/ ROH. She was supposed to battle Tiffany Stratton in a qualifying match for Elimination Chamber 2024 on the February 16 edition of SmackDown but was pulled from the match after suffering a torn ACL.

Former WWE star claims the company has an interesting plan for Shotzi's return
Wrestling veteran Mideon recently claimed that WWE has a plan in place for Shotzi's return to the ring.
Speaking on the Six Feet Under podcast, the 55-year-old claimed he was working on a gimmick inspired by the film American Psycho for the veteran. The legend noted that he envisioned the 32-year-old portraying a roller derby character in WWE as well.
"I was asked by a couple of people to ‘help them out’ on their returns, ideas for stories. So I really kind of got this 'American Psycho' thing working for Shotzi, who I love. I see her as a roller derby…did she not fit the roller derby thing? Although I’ve kind of went in an 'American Psycho' thing, where she’s kind of been sitting at home, and see the video of her, and there’s two TVs, there’s a TV in front of her, and she’s watching the current women’s stable wrestle, and there’s a TV next to her with the ending of ‘Texas Chainsaw’, where all you hear is chainsaws, so she goes kind of insane a little bit," he said.

Shotzi has never won a title during her time on WWE's main roster. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for her return down the line.
