Joe Hendry will be heading into the match on the back of Slammiversary 2024, during which he failed to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. The title was won by Nic Nemeth (FKA Dolph Ziggler), who dethroned Moose.
Since appearing on NXT, Hendry has also worked on commentary. The 36-year-old was the Special Guest Commentator during a match between Gallus and RSCLxMSK. Hendry will be aiming for his first major singles victory in WWE.
