WWE Bad Blood 2024 may not have been in the traditional 'Big Five' premium live events of the year, but it was certainly filled with big moments and big names. There was one name present at ringside who appeared after a few years.
That was none other than Gage, the son of Bill Goldberg. Now a grown adult playing College Football in Colorado, he was at ringside along with his father, who hadn't appeared on WWE TV for over two years.
Gage didn't have as much involvement this time around at Bad Blood, unlike two years ago when he was taken out by Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam 2021 during their WWE Title match.
If fans recall, the moment when Gage was put in the Hurt Lock by then-World Champion Bobby Lashley led to a rematch between Lashley and Goldberg in Saudi Arabia, a bout that was widely considered one of the best of Goldberg's career.
The feud was all about vengeance as Goldberg stopped caring about the World Championship and wanted revenge against Bobby Lashley. It looks like Goldberg vs Gunther is being teased as a possible direction for his retirement match.
Goldberg has stated before that he feels like he's owed a retirement match. Gunther would be a fantastic opponent to close his legendary career.
