Michael Cole says 34-year-old SmackDown star is a "better-looking Adam Pearce"

Michael Cole seems to have been getting better every week over the last couple of weeks, which continued on SmackDown. On the Friday Night Show, he roasted Adam Pearce by calling another superstar a "younger and better-looking" version of the RAW General Manager.

The superstar in question is Giovanni Vinci, who was booked for a rematch against Apollo Crews. Previously, the 34-year-old lost to Crews in seconds in a hilarious return after getting repackaged.

Michael Cole went on to call Vinci a younger and better-looking version of Adam Pearce.

"He looks like a younger and better-looking Adam Pearce,” Cole said.

However, that comment from Cole wasn't enough for Giovanni Vinci, who lost to Apollo Crews via a roll-up again. It wasn't as short a match this time, but the Italian star was caught off guard again.

This time, however, he took matters into his own hands and launched a post-match attack on Apollo Crews. It will be interesting to see what happens with his character going forward.

However, Vinci had some respite and looked decent despite the awful loss. Perhaps they'll run it back for part three.
