Before Monday Night RAW premiered on Netflix, a 25-year-old star captured the WWE Women's Championship on SmackDown last week. Tiffany Stratton won the Women's Money in the Bank briefcase at the titular premium live event held at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada, on July 6, 2024.

Meanwhile, Nia Jax successfully defended the WWE Women's Championship against Naomi on the January 3, 2025, edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Following the match, The Buff Barbie neutralized both Candice LeRae and Bianca Belair after The Irresistible Force was taken out by her and The EST. The Center of The Universe then capitalized on the weakened former champion and cashed in her MITB contract to claim the WWE Women's Title.

Speaking to Denise Salcedo ahead of RAW's debut on Netflix, Tiffany Stratton recalled being on autopilot mode during her Money in the Bank cash-in. The 25-year-old star stated that she experienced the full impact of her hard work upon successfully executing the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to become the new champion.

"I felt, like, through the whole process whenever I was out there I felt like I was just on autopilot. And then when I hit my moonsault finally, I really could relish in that moment and I felt that's when everything hit me. All my hard work in the past three years and standing on that table and holding the title; it felt so amazing!" Stratton said. [From 00:39 to 00:58]
