Teddy Long seemed completely perplexed by the idea that a popular 28-year-old star hasn't been signed by WWE yet. While alluding to potential attitude issues, Long admitted that he knows nothing about that but speculated about it.
On the latest episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, host Mac Davis asked wrestling legends Bill Apter and Teddy Long about TNA superstar Jordynne Grace, who could be WWE-bound sooner rather than later.
Teddy Long told Mac Davis that Jordynne Grace has been around for a long time, and he struggles to understand why AEW or WWE hasn't picked her up.
"Jordynne [Grace] has been around a long time and she's had a lot of opportunities to be with WWE and AEW. So there may be something wrong somewhere because she's a great worker in the ring, she's got a great presence. Sometimes, the attitude can hold you back. I don't know that about her. I can't understand why they haven't done something with her already." (1:08-1:35)

The part where the ex-SmackDown General Manager said he doesn't know anything about any possible attitude issues should be highlighted. All accounts seem to indicate that Jordynne Grace was a great figure to work with, and the fact that she allegedly managed to cut down the length of her TNA contract seems to suggest that the interest between her and WWE is mutual.
As of this writing, Grace's last dates with TNA appear to be in a week's time at the Genesis event, where she will take on the controversial Tessa Blanchard. Many expect it to be her last hurrah in TNA. There is also reportedly interest within WWE in signing her partner Jonathan Gresham.
Teddy Long had an interesting take on TNA signing Jordynne Grace's upcoming opponent Tessa Blanchard
Tessa Blanchard could be the one to send Jordynne Grace away from TNA, regardless of whether fans are happy about that decision or not. Especially concerning the allegedly racist comments made by Blanchard in the past, Long was asked about this particular issue.
On a previous episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy Long took a hard stance on TNA signing Tessa Blanchard despite knowing her controversial history:
"Well, I really can't speak on it man. It's up to the company. They know the deal, whatever, she left a rasicst comment, they already know that. So if they brought her back, they don't really care. So, ain't nothing to say."
Only time will tell if TNA's gamble on Tessa Blanchard will pay off. She remains the only female star ever to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. When it comes to her, it's less about her talent and more about the other issues that have historically come along with her presence in the locker room. Jordynne Grace, on the other hand, seems to have had no such issues.
