Tiffany Stratton breaks character to celebrate personal achievement

Tiffany Stratton has taken WWE's main roster by storm since her official call-up earlier this year. The former NXT Women's Champion won Money in the Bank during the summer and cemented her spot as a top heel in the SmackDown women's division. Stratton is now celebrating another milestone ahead of SmackDown.

The Blonde Bombshell joined WWE in August 2021, essentially with zero pro wrestling experience. Stratton's in-ring debut came that November, she went on to become NXT's 2023 Female Superstar of the Year, and she won the Slammy Award for the 2024 NXT Superstar of the Year. The former gymnast held the NXT Women's Championship for 107 days, losing it to Becky Lynch.

Ms. Money in the Bank is set to wrestle in her hometown for the first time on tonight's SmackDown, live from the Target Center in Minneapolis. Stratton was born in nearby Prior Lake and grew up in the Twin Cities area. She is set to compete in a match for the tournament that will crown the inaugural WWE Women's United States Champion. The 25-year-old took to Instagram to tout the milestone event:

"First time wrestling in my hometown [tonight] [partying face emoji]," Tiffany Stratton wrote.

Stratton made her WarGames debut at WWE Survivor Series last weekend. She teamed with Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, and Candice LeRae, but they were defeated by Rhea Ripley, Bayley, IYO SKY, Bianca Belair, and Naomi.

Tiffany Stratton and more set for WWE SmackDown

World Wrestling Entertainment will return to the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN for tonight's live SmackDown. This will be the post-Survivor Series episode, also featuring more build to Saturday Night's Main Event.

Officials have just one match confirmed for tonight's live SmackDown episode. Below is the current lineup:

• Fallout from Survivor Series and WarGames
• Will Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa get on the same page?
• Shinsuke Nakamura is the new United States Champion
• Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Elektra Lopez in the tournament to crown the inaugural Women's United States Champion

The winner of tonight's tournament Triple Threat will go on to face Michin in the semi-finals. The winner of that match will face the winner of the semi-final bout between Bayley and Chelsea Green, to crown the inaugural Women's U.S. Champion at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.
