The SmackDown Women's division is in a state of flux after Tiffany Stratton became Miss Money in the Bank. She won the briefcase in Toronto last week.
This week, while Tiffany Stratton was bragging about her win, Bayley walked out and warned the rookie that she would be unsuccessful if she tried cashing in on the champ. This led to Nia Jax coming out and telling the Role Model that she needed to worry about her match at SummerSlam. Bayley smartly stirred the pot between Tiffany and Nia, trying to create a divide between the two.
On the latest episode of Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell detailed how WWE subtly highlighted the tensions brewing in the SmackDown women's division. He pointed out that Tiffany Stratton almost hid behind Bayley the moment Nia Jax thought that the star would cash in on her at SummerSlam. Dutch felt this segment built up suspense over who would be the champ walking out of SummerSlam.
"I liked this segment because you saw the alliances and you saw it change right in front of you. That Tiffany, when Nia got at little hot at her, she got behind Bayley. Her whole position moved in the ring. Then at the end, I'll cash this in and Nia... that told the story." [From 26:41 onwards]

This week, Nia defeated Michin, gaining some much-needed momentum ahead of her title match at SummerSlam. Tiffany Stratton even teased cashing in on Bayley. But, Nia Jax prevented her current ally from going through with it.
With The Biggest Party of the Summer just a couple of weeks away, it will be interesting to see who walks out as champion after the grand event.
